The Village of Enon is gearing up for the Second Annual Car Show on Sunday, August 23 at Settlers Park, but this year they are adding a popular new twist.  According to Village Administrative Assistant Kristy Thome and Police Chief Lew Wilcox, visitors will also be able to purchase dinner from over a dozen food trucks this year.

Thome has been busy working to arrange for a variety of food and drinks at the event provided by the self-contained restaurants on wheels that will be located on the east side of Enon-Xenia in front of Enon Elementary while the cars will be lined up on the west side in front of Settler’s Park.

Area car enthusiasts can pay just $10 to enter their vehicle before August 17.  A dash plaque will be provided to the first 100 vehicles registered.  Registration increases to $20 after the 17th of August and all payments are non-refundable.  Payment can be made in cash or by check made payable to the Village of Neon.  Proceeds will benefit the Neon Police Department annual Shop with a Cop event around the holidays.

The event will be held from 4 to 8 pm and is open to all area residents and guests with no admission fee.  The village hopes to attract both cars and guests from across the Miami Valley.

For more information or to make your reservation, call the Village Government Center at 864-7870.  Payment will be required prior to the deadline to receive the discounted price for the car show entry.
